Romeoville Relay for Life kickoff to be Thursday

ROMEOVILLE — The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Romeoville will hold its annual kickoff at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mongo’s, 1101 N Independence Blvd.

Team captains can sign commitment cards and register for the event.

This year’s Relay For Life will be June 30 at the Village Hall.

GCSWCD to meet

YORKVILLE — The Grundy County Soil & Water Conservation District, along with the Kendall County Soil & Water Conservation District, will hold its annual pond seminar at 6 p.m. March 6 at the Kendall County Historic Courthouse.

Rob Miller, fisheries biologist from Silver Springs State Park, will speak.

The free seminar is open to the public.
