A Bolingbrook man is facing multiple felony charges after being accused of forcing his way into an Aurora apartment and raping a woman.

According to police Lt. Pete Inda, Smith forced his way into the apartment of a woman he knew who lived in the 1700 block of Marywood Avenue at 1:40 a.m. Monday. Smith pointed a gun at a man who was in the apartment, Inda said. That man then fled, police said.

Smith then duct-taped the wrists and ankles of the woman and forced her to perform oral sex on him while he held a gun to her head, police said. By then, the man who had fled the apartment had called police who responded to the apartment and convinced Smith to surrender, Inda said. A weapon was found in the apartment, Inda said.
