Police Blotter: Bolingbrook man killed in crash

BOLINGBROOK — A Bolingbrook man was pronounced dead after a crash this weekend.

Efren Garcia, 30, was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m. Saturday at Monterey Drive and Rockhurst Road.

The Bolingbrook Police Department is investigating the incident. An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday. A final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date, pending police, autopsy and toxicology reports. Funeral home selection was pending Saturday.

Wanted man turns self in

BOLINGBROOK — A man wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl turned himself in to police Wednesday afternoon.

Hugo Hernandez, 49, of 220 Mill Stream Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested on a charge of predatory criminal sexual abuse and booked into county jail.

An arrest warrant had been obtained Tuesday. The victim was treated at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago for a sexual assault that allegedly occcured in November in Bolingbrook. Bolingbrook police and the Department of Child and Family Services were notified.

Vincent C. Bowen: 52, of 304 S. State St. in Lockport, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Francisco Reyes: 48, of 608 Ohio St. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of forgery.

Timothy L. Norris: 38, of 905 Haldeman Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of aggravated battery and domestic battery.

Felipe Gonzalez-Orozco: 35, of 320 Manitowac St. in Park Forest, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Frank Wallace: 51, of 1102 Bartel Road in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving without a license.

Samantha D. Miller: 22, of 421 Division St. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of vandalism and disorderly conduct.

Justin C. Jachimiec: 22, of 15424 Tulip Court in Orland Park, was arrested by Tinley Park police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of burglary, shoplifting and disorderly conduct.

Jimmy L. Mitchell: 23, of 136 N. Hoyne Ave. in Chicago, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Lamarr A. Coats: 22, of 358 N. Broadway in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Ariyal M. Mathews: 28, of 2204 St. Francis Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Rudy Aguirre: 22, of 701 Garnsey Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on a charge of aggravated battery.

Brian I. Banales: 20, of 2110 Gray Hawk Drive in Plainfield, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on charges of battery, possession of narcotics with intent to deliver and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.

Titania Y. Jackson: 32, of 1604 E. Washington St. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on charges of aggravated discharge of firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Monica A. Godinez: 38, of 415 Fourth Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on charges of driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Fabian Avina: 30, of 804 Schock Drive in Joliet, and Martin Ramirez, 21, of 2009 Mayfield Ave. in Joliet, were arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on charges of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.

Rashi H. Dildy: 41, of 171 Highpoint Drive in Romeoville, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Wednesday on charges of driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
