JOLIET — The city’s Easter parade is Sunday, and there’s more to do, too.
The Wish Upon a Star Foundation Easter Parade and Festival includes crafts, a candy run, and more. Everything takes place in downtown Joliet.
Easter brunch at the Renaissance Center, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Three candy runs at Silver Cross Field for different age groups, starts at 10:30 a.m.;
The Wish Upon a Star hot dog lunch at the Rialto Square Theatre, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..;
Cupcake decorating at the Red Goose Bakery; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Cookie decorating and photos with the Easter Bunny at Gji’s Sweet Shoppe, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.;
A free showing of the movie Puss ‘n Boots at the Rialto, noon;
Crafts and activities for kids at the Joliet Area Historical Museum, noon to 5 p.m.;
Crafts and activities at the Joliet Public Library, 1 to 4 p.m.
