Joliet Cares event set for April 21

JOLIET — The annual Joliet Cares event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 21 at the Christian Youth Center, at 1110 Manhattan Road.
Joliet Cares is a one-day event to provide assistance to the underserved in the community.
The event is free and offers medical screening, prayer and spiritual support, food, clothing, haircuts, family portraits and lunch. New this year will be an area with fresh fruits and vegetables and a reading area with books for children and teens.
