Truck tips over, closing tollway ramp near New Lenox

A ramp on the Veterans Memorial Tollway near New Lenox was closed Monday night after a semitruck tipped onto its side.
The crash happened around 11:03 p.m. on the ramp from the southbound tollway (Interstate 355) to eastbound Interstate 80, an Illinois State Police Joliet District trooper said.
Details on the crash were not yet clear as crews continued to respond, but the truck and trailer were on their sides and the ramp was closed to traffic, the trooper said.
State Police are investigating.
