When the above photo of Clover Farm Stores Finer Foods was taken back in 1965 at 808 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, you could get a 2-pound can of coffee for $1.39, a 10-pound bag of potatoes for 49 cents and a bottle of Mazola oil for 33 cents. In those days, traffic was light, and parking was easy. Today, at this location, Truth Restaurant offers an eclectic dining experience to patrons who appreciate fine dining.
