Police Blotter: Lemont man dies in apparent electrocution

LEMONT — A man died in an apparent electrocution while he was trimming a tree at his home, authorities said Friday.
The 32-year-old Lemont man’s ladder made contact with a high-voltage overhead wire, the Will County coroner’s office said. The man was pronounced dead at 12:01 p.m. Friday at an area hospital.
The man’s name was being withheld Friday, pending notification of family.
DuPage County police are investigating the incident. An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday. The cause and manner of death will be determined pending autopsy, police and other reports. The funeral home selection was pending on Friday evening.

Jennifer L. Wisnieski: 30, of 1501 Pioneer Road in Crest Hill, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of narcotics possession.
Royel A. Pacheco: 56, of 3021 Heritage Drive in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of shoplifting.
Celeste M. Oviedo: 28, of 658 Chase Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Romeoville police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of shoplifting.
Dominique D. Travis: 18, of 810 Gage St. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on charges of cannabis possession, driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
Stephen A. Click: 18, of 4416 Wood Duck Lane in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of burglary.
