Lemont man electrocuted in yard

A 32-year-old Lemont man was electrocuted Friday while trimming a tree at his home.
Arkadiusz P. Kowalczyk was on a ladder and trimming a tree near his house when the ladder made contact with an overhead high-voltage wire, the Will County coroner’s office said.
Kowalczyk was taken to Bolingbrook Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:01 p.m. Friday.
The DuPage County sheriff’s office is investigating Kowalczyk’s death.
