PLAINFIELD — All Indian Trail Middle School choir alumni are invited to take part in the school’s annual Disney Concert at 7 p.m. May 15 to help commemorate choir director Mason Luebbing’s 10th anniversary at the school.

Alumni and current Indian Trail choir students will rehearse together from 6 to 8 p.m. May 14 in the school cafeteria, 14723 S. Eastern Ave. The concert will be held in the gymnasium. A small reception will follow.

VFW honors winners

NEW LENOX — The Veterans of Foreign Wars honored winners at the New Lenox School District Board meeting.

Coloring contest winners were: Breanna Cooney, first; Justin Bafia, second; and Ava Wandersee, third. Winners for the poster contest were: Will Jager, first; Lydia Hong, second; and Madison O’Brien, third.

The VFW holds the contest each year to show appreciation for those who have served our country.
