Seniors invited to seminar on safety

YORKVILLE — Kendall County TRIAD is offering a one-day Senior Safety Conference to provide seniors with a variety of information. Session topics will range from how to identify a scam to how to take care of your health.
The free program will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 2 at the Kendall County Historic Courthouse, 110 W. Madison St., Yorkville. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided during the session.
Topics include: drafting powers of attorney for health care and property; veteran assistance programs; crime prevention and traffic safety; and information on the TRIAD program, which works to ensure the health, safety and fair treatment of the elderly.
