YMCA offers camp for kids over summer

With summer vacation just around the corner, it’s time to start planning for summer camp at the YMCA. Camp staffs at the Greater Joliet Area YMCA have been busy planning new field trips and activities to make this summer’s camp season the best ever.
The Y provides a safe, affordable and fun day camp for youth and teens in kindergarten through ninth grade.
Campers will enjoy a summer full of water fun, weekly field trips, sports, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts and more.
Camp locations are:
C.W. Avery Family YMCA, 15120 Wallin Drive, Plainfield; grades K-8
Galowich Family YMCA, 749 Houbolt Road, Joliet; grades K-9
Smith Family YMCA, 1350 S. Briggs St., Joliet; grades 6-8
Saratoga Elementary School, 4040 N. Division St., Morris; grades K-6
