A Governors State University college student was charged with aggravated child pornography after police allegedly found illegal files on his computers.

Will County Judge Marzell Richardson set bond for 21-year-old Justin M. White of New Lenox at $100,000 Wednesday.

New Lenox Deputy Police Chief Robert Pawlisz said the Will County State’s Attorney’s High-Tech Crimes Unit found out White was downloading illegal files, and officers who searched his home in the 1500 block of Monarch Avenue found child pornography on computers and a hard drive.

White’s attorney told Richardson his client is a student at Governors State and works for a local grocery.
