Agencies investigate fatal accident

A Hercher, Ill., man was killed Friday after an accident involving a motorcycle and a utility truck, according to a press release from the Grundy County Coroner’s office.
The crash occurred at the intersection of 3000 East Road and 3100 North Road at 2:17 p.m. Friday, the release said.
Richard Peters, 48, of Hercher, was taken to Morris Hospital by the Dwight EMS, where he was pronounced dead.
The Livingston County Sherfiff’s Department is assisting with Grundy County Coroner’s office with the investigation.
