Community expo Saturday in Troy Township

SHOREWOOD — A community expo and open house will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Troy Township Community Center, 25448 Seil Road.
The event will feature local businesses, organizations, demonstrations, raffles and refreshments. There also will be a Cash Dash station and Touch a Truck event.
Pets to be blessed
CREST HILL — Animal lovers can bring their pets to Theodore Street Lutheran Church, 1603 N. Prairie Ave., for a Blessing of the Pets at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The blessing by the Rev. Jeff Chubb will take place in the church’s front yard at Theodore Street and North Prairie Avenue.
All types of animals are welcome. Pets should be leashed or otherwise restrained.
