Cruise nights returning to Joliet streets

JOLIET — Downtown Joliet and the Friends of Cruise Nights announce the return of classic cars on display on the third Thursday of the month: June 21, July 19 and Aug. 16.
Cruise Night will be from 6 to 9 p.m. and feature classic cars on display along Chicago Street in downtown Joliet.
DJ music from the 1950s and 1960s will be played during the free event.
Guests and cruisers will delight in great dinner menus at the following participating downtown Joliet restaurants: The Red Goose, Chicago Street Pub, The Department Restaurant & Liquor Lounge, Chicken and Spice, Thayer’s 158 North and McBrody’s Bar & Grill.
Complete the evening with a sweet treat from Gjis Sweet Shoppe.
Cars should arrive prior to the 6 p.m. start time and look for spotters to direct them to their parking locations. Check in will be at the intersection of Clinton and Chicago streets. Enter off Ottawa and Scott streets.
