Police Blotter: Woman extricated from vehicle, taken to hospital

JOLIET — A woman was taken to the hospital and in critical condition Friday morning after a crash at Route 53 and Schweitzer Road, police said.
The woman was driving west on Schweitzer Road around 2 a.m. when the vehicle was involved in a crash with a semi-truck, which was northbound on Route 53, police said. The truck flipped over during the crash, police said.
The woman had to be extricated from the vehicle, police said Friday afternoon.

Matthew A. Lasenby: 22, of 1802 Pampas St. in Bolingbrook, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
James P. Zegley: 52, of 7365 Yorktown Road in Frankfort, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
Thomas J. Ustaszewski: 44, of 331 Shenandoah Drive in Romeoville, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Grant M. Fuller: 22, of 2108 Poppy Lane in Crest Hill, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver. Joseph P. Manning: 19, of 16155 S. Lincoln Hwy. in Plainfield, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Juan J. Espinoza: 22, or 409 S. Palmer Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
