Police Blotter: Motorcyclist dies in accident

JOLIET — A Joliet man died after being thrown off his motorcycle early Monday.
Shortly after midnight, a police officer came across the body of Richard D. Johnson, 53, in the 300 block of Laraway Road.
According to reports, Johnson struck a raised median and was ejected from the seat. He was not carrying any passengers and was not wearing a helmet. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Will County Coroner Patrick K. O’Neil said an autopsy showed Johnson died from injuries he sustained in the crash.
Woman suspects fiance scam
JOLIET TOWNSHIP — A woman told police she suspects the fiance who contacted her online is a con artist.
Last week, the 61-year-old victim told Will County Sheriff’s police she has been in contact with a man named “Peter Judd” from London.
“Between November 2011 and May 2012, she wired 10 transactions in excess of $60,000 to ... Judd,” reports said. “(The victim) states Judd was going to come to Joliet and marry her, but she now believes she was being scammed.”

Noe Bautista: 28, of 620 Williamson Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of narcotics possession and domestic battery.
Guillermo E. Godinez: 18, of 1773 Christopher Court in Romeoville, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.
Paul J. Scarpetta: 52, of 309 S. Fordham Ave. in Aurora, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Brenden P. Gory: 20, of 553 E. Thirteenth St. in Lockport, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver.
Ramiro R. Rosillo: 37, of 15009 S. Route 59 in Plainfield, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.
Dennis M. Wail: 29, of 19227 John Kirkham Drive in Lockport, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Damieon D. Guidry: 20, of 510 Landau Road in University Park, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of burglary.
Jessica Salazar: 22, of 4539 S. Justine St. in Chicago, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of unlawful use of a credit card.
Ricardo P. Ruvalcaba: 22, of 101 Mississippi Ave. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
