New director for St. Joe’s foundation

JOLIET — Officials at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center have appointed Elizabeth “Jan” Edgar as executive director of the Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center Foundation.
An accomplished philanthropy executive with expertise in healthcare, Edgar previously served as the director of development at the American Academy of Dermatology in Schaumburg, where she led initiatives for annual, major and planned gifts, corporate relations, cause and marketing and awards and recognition programs.
According to Lisa Lagger, chief relations officer at the medical center, “Jan is a proven leader with a stellar track record of successes in every aspect of development. She is a great addition to our ministry and community, and the PSJMC Foundation is delighted to have her on board. “
Before her work with the dermatology academy, Edgar served as the first executive director of the Alexian Brothers Medical Center Foundation in Elk Grove Village.
