NEW LENOX — Door-to-door transportation services are provided within New Lenox Township from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Services are available to senior citizens, the disabled and youths.
Trips may be scheduled to adjacent townships for medical purposes, physical therapy and visits to nursing homes.

Kidney screenings Aug. 1 in Crest Hill
CREST HILL — The National Kidney Foundation of Illinois and the Senior Services Center of Will County call on community members to protect their kidneys and prevent damage by educating themselves about kidney disease.
The foundation will offer a free screening for diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney disease from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 1 at Richland School, 1919 Caton Farm Road.
The screening is open to all community members.
