Plainfield Fest set for village’s downtown

PLAINFIELD — The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation and Rod Baker Ford will present Plainfield Fest on Friday through Sunday in historic downtown Plainfield.
This year’s fest promises to be a fun, family event, featuring food, live music, entertainment, craft vendors and carnival rides.
Sunday will be Bags & Baseball Day. Those attending will have a chance to see former Gold Glove winner Bobby Dernier and former Cubs pitcher Milt Pappas.
Also, don’t miss the annual Bags Tournament, a Harry Caray impersonator and player appearances from the Will County Crackerjacks.
Adults can gather in the beer garden while listening to live music.

6:30-8:30 p.m.: Michael Heaton
9 p.m.-midnight: Spoken Four
3:30-5 p.m.: One Twenty West
5:30-7 p.m.: Dan Hubbard and the Humadors
7:30-9 p.m.: Jaw Potato
9:30-11:30 p.m.: Bad Medicine
1 p.m.: Bags Tournament
1-3 p.m.: Harry Caray impersonator
