Police blotter: Michigan men busted for pot

WILL COUNTY — Two Michigan men were arrested after reportedly bringing seven pounds of high-grade marijuana to undercover officers Monday.

Lt. Greg Lindemulder said State Police Task Force Six began a narcotics investigation in Livingston County that led to Cameron M. Grimes, 23, and Tyler J. Otterbine, 27, both of Mount Pleasant.

The pair were booked into the county jail on charges of cannabis trafficking and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.

Police news in brief:

Fire destroyed a barn shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday in the 8300 block of Pioneer Road. No one was injured.

In other police news:

Terry W. Tuma: 63, of 565 Smith Road in Lisle, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.

Juan A. DelRio: 33, of 1370 N. Cedar Road in New Lenox, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Robert J. Gray: 37, of 401 Bluff St. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of armed robbery.

Eric T. Heard: 21, of 1356 W. Marion St. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Tuesday on a charge of driving on a suspended license.
