Plainfield to hold hearing on road project

Seeking public input

PLAINFIELD — The village will hold a public meeting concerning the proposed improvements to the intersection of 127th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road. The project includes reconstruction of the intersection to provide left-turn lanes, a new traffic signal and improved drainage.

The meeting will be 5-8 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Village Hall, 24401 W. Lockport St.

Discussing Medicaid fraud

NEW LENOX — The Manhattan-New Lenox TRIAD invites senior citizens (age 50 and up) to a meeting at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the New Lenox Village Hall, One Veterans Parkway.
