ROMEOVILLE — The tentative Valley View School District budget to be on display through mid-September
The tentative budget will be available for review by the public until a public hearing prior to adoption at the Sept. 24 school board meeting.

Lockport cops to participate
in traffic safety campaigns
LOCKPORT — The Lockport Police Department will work with state, local and county agencies across through Sept. 3 as part of the “Drive Sober, or get Pulled Over!” and “Click it, or Ticket” traffic safety campaigns.
The action is made possible through a $35,000 safety grant funded to us by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
A roadside safety checkpoint will be from 11:30 p.m. Sept. 1 to 3:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at 159th Street and Adelmann Drive.
