I-Cash table to be at Bolingbrook event
BOLINGBROOK — State Treasurer Dan Rutherford encourages residents to stop by his I-Cash table at Taste of Pakistan on Saturday at the Performing Arts Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.
Staff will be available 2 to 7 p.m. to help anyone wishing to determine if the state is holding any money or unclaimed property entitled to them. For information, visit the treasurer’s website at www.treasurer.il.gov or call 217-785-6998.
IDOT gives Joliet directive on bridge
JOLIET — The city of Joliet received a directive from the Illinois Department of Transportation Bridge Office to post a weight limit of 18 tons for the Caton Farm Road bridge over the DuPage River.
The weight limit will not affect single unit vehicles, school buses, or panel trucks.
Signs have been posted.
The city received an IDOT grant to reconstruct the bridge.
The grant will fund 80 percent of the cost, and work is expected in 2015.
Sanitary District issues boil order
JOLIET — The Southeast Joliet Sanitary District issued a 48-hour boil order Thursday for Emerson Place, East Zarley Boulevard, Hawthorne Circle, Moore Avenue, Starr Drive and Walden Road. Call 815-722-7875.
