Executive Women International of Chicago awarded Rachelle Sartori a $5,000 scholarship at a banquet June 12.

Sartori recently graduated from Joliet Catholic Academy. She plans to study exercise science and become a sport psychologist.

She enjoys volunteering at Lamb’s Fold, Su Casa, Daybreak, Feed My Starving Children and at the Menominee Indian Reservation. In her free time Sartori enjoys running cross-country and track, which she will continue in college, reading, playing the piano and time with friends.

The Executive Women International Scholarship Program has been helping junior high school students achieve their academic goals for more than 25 years. This year’s program was also opened to seniors.

Chapter-level winners are submitted to the corporate level for the opportunity to be selected for one of ten scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
