A Naperville woman who became the subject of a missing person search after disappearing last week from her home was found Wednesday night in Grundy County.

Naperville police Cmdr. Ray Adkins confirmed the woman, Eileen Piskorek, was found by Grundy County law enforcement officials, after they curbed her vehicle during a traffic stop.

Adkins said he did not know the precise time or place Piskorek was located or which police agency executed the traffic stop.

He said he also did not know why Piskorek had gone away without notifying relatives or where she had been after being reported missing.

Adkins added Piskorek appeared to be in good physical health and was in the process of being reunited with her family.

Piskorek, 58, was last seen Aug. 23 near 95th Street and Route 59 on Naperville’s far southwest side. She was driving a green, 2007 Ford Focus and carried with her a black briefcase and a purse.

She was known to have friends or relatives in the Channahon area.
