Bolingbrook police to offer academy

BOLINGBROOK — The Bolingbrook Police Department is accepting applications for the Citizen Police Academy 2012 Fall Class.

The free academy will meet 7-9:30 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 4 to Dec. 13, at the department, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.

Pick up an application at the station or print one from www.Bolingbrook.com.

Citizen Police Academy Alumni
of Morris open forum

MORRIS — The Citizen Police Academy Alumni of Morris will hold an open forum at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the community center, 200 E. Chapin St.

The public is invited.

Bolingbrook High School
open house

BOLINGBROOK — Parents of Bolingbrook High School students will have an opportunity to walk through their child’s daily schedule and talk with classroom teachers at the annual BHS Open Houseat 6 p.m. Thursday.

Parking will be available in all lots, and entry may be made at either Door 17 on the school’s south side or Door 1 on the west side.
