JOLIET — Due to predicted inclement weather, the University of St. Francis rescheduled its Challenge Center Grand Opening to 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday.
The grand opening, offered in conjunction with the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will take place outdoors at the low ropes course site at 409 Nicholson St.
The center’s programs emphasize skills, strategies and behaviors necessary for effective leadership within an organization.
Participants are guided by trained facilitators in fun, action-oriented activities that help to promote trust, cooperation, integrity and respect between colleagues to build stronger partnerships.
The grand opening will highlight programs and facilities and give attendees an opportunity to meet members of the staff.
The University of St. Francis serves 3,400 students nationwide. For information, call 800-735-7500 or visit www.stfrancis.edu.
