Fashion show set at steakhouse

JOLIET — Models are scheduled to show off new fashion Wednesday at Al’s Steakhouse, 1990 W. Jefferson St.
Longtime cable TV talk show host Diana Stonitsch is organizing the The Ministry of Fashion show, scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. The public is invited.
New library meeting
SHOREWOOD — Citizens for a New Shorewood-Troy Library will hold an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Troy Township Community Center, 25448 Seil Road.
The group is looking toward a referendum for a new library.
Blood drive set
JOLIET — The Taylor Babec blood drive will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Will County state’s attorney’s office, 121 N. Chicago St.
Heartland volunteers will provide doughnuts in the morning, and they will cook hot dogs in the afternoon. Additionally, every donor will receive a $5 gift card to Wal-Mart.
After you donate, head north to The Department, 205 N. Chicago St., where every donor will receive 20 percent off their meal.
