Family Fun Fest to be Saturday in Joliet

JOLIET — Family Fun Fest will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Silver Cross Field, 1 Mayor Art Schultz Drive.
Admission costs $2 for ages 16 and older; admission is free for ages 15 and younger accompanied by an adult.
Event will feature the Jesse White Tumblers, games, food, music, a rock climbing wall and more.

Child safety seat checks
LOCKPORT — The Lockport Police Department will partner with Walmart, the Illinois Department of Transportation, AAA and the secretary of state’s office to sponsor a free child safety seat check and installation day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Walmart.
Certified technicians will be on hand to educate parents and to properly install your child’s safety seat in your vehicle.
