In police news:
Michael K. Kay: 25, of 1205 Wilcox St. in Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of narcotics possession and possession of drug paraphernlia.
Jason J. Gajcak: 28, of 1108 Krings Lane in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Bethany A. Westenfelt: 22, of 27971 S. 600 East St. in Van Orin, was arrested and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of obstructing justice.
Levedia Barfield: 38, of 454 Water St. in Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of delivery of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
