Cinemark  to screen classic films

JOLIET — Cinemark Holdings announced that its “Classics Series,” featuring six legendary Hollywood movies, will continue in more than 150 Cinemark theatres across the country.

All six of these digitally restored movies will be scheduled to play during the months of October and November at two separate show times, 2 and 7 p.m.

“Movie lovers of all ages have really been enjoying Cinemark’s Classic Film Series,” said James Meredith, vice president of marketing and communication for Cinemark.

Films and dates of their presentation are as follows:

Oct. 10: “Gone With the Wind”

Oct. 17: “Mary Poppins”

Oct. 25: “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”

Oct. 31: “Young Frankenstein”

Nov. 7: “The Great Escape”

Nov. 14: “The Sting”
