Brisbin/I-80 interchange
to be dedicated

MORRIS — A dedication ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Monday to celebrate the completion of the Interstate 80 interchange project at Brisbin Road in Grundy County. The public is invited.

Attendees should enter at the intersection of Brisbin Road and Route 6. Parking will be available on the south side of the bridge deck.

The full interchange will officially open Oct. 19.

Safety committee meetings
at library

BOLINGBROOK — Community members and Valley View School District staff members who have safety concerns or ideas on how to improve conditions in Valley View schools are invited to attend the monthly safety committee meetings.

Meetings are at 5 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month in the Bolingbrook High School Library. Because of conflicts, the next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 16.

There is no meeting in November because of Thanksgiving.
