MORRIS — Rainy weather on Saturday and Sunday caused the delay of the Morris Lions Club Fall Classic Car Show.
The Annual Morris Lions Club Fall Classic Car Show now will be held on the rain date of Sunday at LyondellBasell Recreation Area five miles east of Morris on Route 6. Everyone who had planned to attend on Oct. 14 is encouraged to attend.
St. Joseph Academy to present ‘The War of the Worlds’

JOLIET — St. Joseph Academy will present a commemorative re-creation of Orson Welles’ radio broadcast of “The War of the Worlds,” originally produced in 1938.
The Readers’ Theatre presentation will be at 8 p.m. Saturday in the school, 51 W. Jackson St.
Admission costs $5. Tickets are available at the door. The play will benefit St. Joseph Academy.
