Man charged with fighting officers from three Kendall departments

A Yorkville man is facing felony charges after fighting with officers from three area police departments who were answering a call at his home Wednesday night.

Jeffrey Brewick, 43, of the 400 block of Landmark Avenue, is charged with four counts of aggravated battery to a police officer and a felony count of resisting arrest in the incident.

Yorkville police said they called to Brewick’s home on a report of domestic violence at about 7:40 p.m. Wednesday when Brewick attacked the responding officers. Officers from Yorkville, Oswego and Kendall County all became involved, and all were battered by Brewick, police said.

Brewick was taken to the Kendall County jail.
