Joliet City Hall to be closed Tuesday

JOLIET — The week of Nov. 5 will have regularly scheduled garbage, recycling and yard waste pickup. Election Day on Tuesday will not affect Waste Management’s schedule.
In observance of Election Day, City Hall will be closed Tuesday.
On Tuesday, the parking decks will be free of charge and there will be no enforcement of the parking meters. Commuter parking lots are still subject to the daily fee.
Help for the holidays
JOLIET — Help for the holidays for adults, teens and children will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 8 and 15 at Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle.
A special two-session program that offers helpful information and support as the holidays approach. For ages 5 and older with separate groups for children, teens and adults.
