Plainfield to host transportation planning meeting

PLAINFIELD — The village will host the second of three public meetings on development of the Comprehensive Transportation Plan.
The meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Plainfield Public Works Building, 14400 Coil Plus Drive.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on roadway, bicycle and pedestrian projects, and get public input on those plans.
Food 4 Less accepting donations for Hurricane Sandy relief
CREST HILL — Food 4 Less announced its stores will accept donations from customers to support the Red Cross’ Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
Cash donations will be taken through Saturday at Food 4 Less, 1701 N. Larkin Ave.
