Police blotter: Heroin suspected in death

ROMEOVILLE — Police believe a 20-year-old Frankfort woman died from a heroin overdose Sunday while visiting Lewis University.

According to reports, police were called at 11:10 a.m. after Anna Marinier was found dead in a residence hall.

According to reports, Marinier was on campus visiting her friend, Jamie L. Olson, 21, who “(took) steps to conceal her involvement in this incident,” police said.

Olson, of 9125 Letterkenny Drive in Tinley Park, was arrested and booked into the county jail on a charge of obstructing justice.

In other police news:

Domingo Romero: 25, of 400 White Ave., Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Martin J. Walraven: 55, of 7405 W. Inverness Lane, Frankfort, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Thursday on charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm and unauthorized possession of ammunition.

Taft E. Walker: 51, of 24360 Patriot Court, Crete, was arrested by Crete police and booked into the county jail Thursday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Courtney R. Blasier: 31, of 1816 Nicholson St., Crest Hill, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Friday on a charge of shoplifting.

Ivan C. Centeno: 34, of 358 Hogan St., Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police and booked into the county jail Friday on a charge of aggravated battery.

Tyler J. Moore: 23, address unknown, was arrested by sheriff’s police and booked into the county jail Friday on charges of driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Robert A. Smith: 30, of 813 Second Ave., Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police and booked into the county jail Friday on charges of narcotics trafficking and delivery of marijuana.

Gustavo Lopez: 23, of 688 Niagara Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police and booked into the county jail Friday on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Efren N. Nevarez: 30, of 152 Garden Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested by Bolingbrook police and booked into the county jail Friday on charges of unauthorized possession of a firearm and marijuana possession.
