Crest Hill, businesses sponsor Christmas scavenger hunt

Updated: December 28, 2012 6:12AM

The city of Crest Hill partnered with local businesses to create the ultimate holiday scavenger hunt.

Out of the 40 participating stores, residents need to only stop by only 10. At these stores residents will receive stickers to place on the participation form, available on the city’s website.

Presenting the form at the participating businesses will allow residents to receive special promotions as well.

Businesses are listed in groups of four, so residents will need to stop at one business per group. As soon as the form is completed with 10 stickers, turn it in to City Hall to be entered into a raffle.

The raffle items include two grand-prize gift packages worth more than $750, as well as other items such as Huskystar E10 sewing machine from Robert’s Sewing Center and diamond earrings from Finesse Jewelers, just to name a few.

“The scavenger hunt is a great opportunity for our city to spotlight our businesses and partner with them to promote economic development in the city of Crest Hill,” Mayor Ray Soliman said.
