Nominees sought for hall of fame

Updated: January 1, 2013 6:19AM

Nominations for the annual induction into the Plainfield Foundation for Excellence Alumni Hall of Fame will be accepted through Jan. 11.

The Alumni Hall of Fame honors Plainfield School District graduates who have distinguished themselves beyond their high school years through their significant accomplishments or service.

Nomination forms are available on the Foundation for Excellence website (www.d202foundation.org) and at the Administrative Center, 15732 Howard St., Plainfield.

The Hall of Fame was created in 2011 as part of the foundation’s work to promote excellence and achievement for district learners.

Nominations will be accepted in several categories.

Nominees must have graduated from a district high school at least 20 years prior to nomination. Posthumous nominations will also be accepted.

The foundation will honor this year’s inductees at its annual dinner and auction in April.
