Police Blotter: Bolingbrook man faces charges

BOLINGBROOK — An 18-year-old Bolingbrook man has been charged with delivery of narcotics and criminal sexual abuse in separate cases.
The drug charges against Deshawn Hampton, of 514 Charlestown Drive, resulted from an investigation by the Metropolitan Area Narcotics Squad, while the other incident occurred in August, Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa said.
Rompa said that on Aug. 3, a 14-year-old girl went to a pool in the apartment complex on Preston Drive, where she met Hampton. They later went to a building in the 500 block of Preston and engaged in sexual intercourse, Rompa said.
“The victim’s mother was informed of the incident five days later and she then informed the police, (who) obtained a warrant for Hampton,” Rompa said.
Eastern barns burgled
MONEE TOWNSHIP — Will County Sheriff’s police are investigating several recent break-ins at barns, storage sheds and garages.
The burglaries have occurred late at night and early in the morning within the area between Interstate 57, Manhattan-Monee Road, Offner Road and the Green Garden Country Club.

Rafael Miranda: 36, of 3016 Roxbury Court, Joliet, was charged with shoplifting and obstructing justice Sunday by Romeoville police.
Enyioma B. Onyeobia: 42, of 20251 S. LaPorte Meadows, Frankfort, was charged Sunday with driving on a suspended license.
Derrick J. Herring: 45, of 1319 Pequot St., Joliet, was charged with driving on a suspended license Sunday by sheriff’s police.
Kevin D. Jones: 26, of 1108 Ridgewood Ave., Joliet, was charged Sunday by Joliet police with unlawful use of a weapon and marijuana possession.
Roberto A. Clayton: 43, of 22518 Niamh Court, Richton Park, was charged by Joliet police Sunday with possession of fraudulent identification.
Jerry D. Corbin: 42, of 1450 Wentworth Ave., Calumet City, was charged by New Lenox police Sunday with narcotics possession, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
Eduardo Villagomez: 19, of 19304 Thornham Road, Mokena, was charged by Mokena police Monday with burglary.
Bernadette L. Strand: 35, of 416 Fenton Ave., Romeoville, was charged by sheriff’s police Monday with driving under the influence of alcohol, no license and no insurance.
Harina S. Griffin: 24, of 301 N. Bluff St., Joliet, was charged by Joliet police Monday with aggravated domestic battery.
Jose A. Padilla: 18, of 413 Clay St., Joliet, was charged by sheriff’s police Monday with aggravated battery.
Yudel Ortiz-Villareal: 25, of 300 Woodcreek Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged by Romeoville police Monday with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
