Blotter: Joliet man shot dead

A Joliet man was shot dead early Christmas morning., according to the Will County coroner’s office.

Clifton T. Williams was shot on Spruce Slip Street and was declared dead about 3:40 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.

Spruce Slip Street is a one-block street that runs east-west off South Chicago Avenue just north of 4th Avenue.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, according to the coroner’s office.

Joliet police are investigating, but were not available for comment Tuesday night.

Willie Jones: 48, of 2134 Aberdeen Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested by Romeoville police Saturday on charges of theft and participating in a financial crimes conspiracy.

Briahna D. Amos: 24, of 21273 Old North Church Road, Frankfort, was arrested by sheriff’s police Sunday on a charge of domestic battery.

Shane A. Storer: 25, of 562 N. Eastern Ave., Joliet, was arrested by Joliet police Sunday on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol and no insurance.

Ricky Delafuente: 41, of 1014 Elgin Ave., Joliet, was arrested by sheriff’s police Sunday on a charge of motor vehicle theft.

Dominick: Sierakowski: 20, of 7804 Mulligan Ave., Burbank, was arrested by sheriff’s police Sunday on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and no insurance.

James W. Kramer: 50, of 1140 S. Lorraine Road, Wheaton, was arrested by Plainfield police Sunday on charges of theft, vandalism and possession of burglary tools.

Adam R. Drop: 27, of 13204 Cinnamon Circle, Channahon, was arrested by Plainfield police Sunday on a charge of aggravated domestic battery.

Kory A. Martinez: 35, of 65 N. Webster St., Naperville, was arrested by Romeoville police Sunday on charges of shoplifting and narcotics possession.
