Free phone bill clinic Jan. 17 in Lockport

ROMEOVILLE — A free phone bill analysis clinic, sponsored by state Rep. Emily McAsey, D-Lockport, and the Citizens Utility Board, will be at 3 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Lockport Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 1026 E. Ninth St.
Attendees should bring their current landline bill to the event. A specialist from CUB will conduct a one-on-one phone bill analysis to help residents cut unnecessary, costly and confusing features from their phone service.

Evening of dance
PLAINFIELD — Dance teams from all four Plainfield School District high schools will perform at “Plainfield Dance Fest 2013,” a special evening of dance at 7 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Plainfield North High School auditorium, 12005 S. 248th St.
Tickets cost $5. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
