Easter Seals gets literacy funding

JOLIET — Joliet Region Easter Seals Jump Start Program was selected to receive funding under the U.S. Department of Education’s Innovative Approaches to Literacy Program.
The funds will enable the Jump Start Program to improve literacy outcomes for more than 100 families with young children in Will County.
To further enrich the home literacy environment, participating children also will receive a free book each month through a partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
