Legion post hosting a fundraiser

NEW LENOX — The New Lenox Sons of the American Legion Post 1977, at 14414 Ford Drive, will host a Pre-Super Bowl Party from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday.
Dinner will be provided by in-house caterers, JH Sweis, and will feature 16-ounce pork chops, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, salad, bread pudding and rolls.
Dinner will be served from 7 to 8 p.m.
Cocktails start at 6 p.m. and Ernie Givins and the White Lies Band will perform from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The evening’s raffles include a Samsung 50-inch Smart 3D TV bundled with an Xbox 360 Kinect 4 GB. Second- through fifth-place prizes will be cash raffles of $250, $100 and two $50 prizes. There will also be various other raffles and door prizes.
Tickets cost $25 per person, or reserve table of eight for $175.
