PEOTONE — A forum for 2nd Congressional District candidates will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Peotone High School auditorium, 605 W. North St.

The program is sponsored by the Will County Farm Bureau, the Cook County Farm Bureau, STAND, Will County Commissioner District 1 Judy Ogalla and Kankakee County Commissioner District 4 John Howard.

All candidates who filed for the office have been invited to attend.

The forum will be moderated by Jacinda Beason of Chicago.

Districts sponsor Community Resource Fair

ROMEOVILLE — With nearly 130 service providers from throughout Will, DuPage and Cook counties present, the Community Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Romeoville Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Road, promises to be an information-filled event.

The fair is sponsored by Plainfield School District and Valley View School District. Child care will be available for $1 per child.
