Channahon police to offer Citizens Police Academy

CHANNAHON — The Channahon Police Department will host its Citizens Police Academy.
Participants will get hands-on experience in a variety of law enforcement topics taught by members of the department.
Classes will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays, March 14 to May 30.
Program information and applications are available at the department, 24555 S. Navajo Drive. All participants must be 18 years old or older.

Final installment of school coffees
PLAINFIELD — Plainfield School District residents are invited to the final of this year’s Community Coffees with the Superintendent from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the district administrative center, 15732 Howard St.
Superintendent John Harper and members of his administration will attend. The event is free, and registration is not required.
