Richland to host school safety
discussion Feb. 26
CREST HILL — The devastating tragedy in Newtown, Conn., still leaves questions regarding the safety of children in schools.
Richland School District will host a safety presentation at 7 p.m. Feb. 26 in the Main Gym of the school, 1919 Caton Farm Road.
Presenters will include representatives from Richland, Chaney-Monge School District, Crest Hill police, Will County Health Department and the media.

PTA’s Adult Auction and Raffle Feb. 22
BOLINGBROOK — Members of the community, parents and friends are invited to the Wood View Elementary School PTA Adult Auction and Raffle from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Feb. 22 at the school, 197 Winston Drive.
Desserts, sweet snacks, coffee, iced tea and water will be featured for $5. The event is for ages 21 years and older.
Among activities will be a silent auction and a raffle drop featuring donations from more than 50 businesses.
The first 100 people to enter are guaranteed a balloon pop prize.
