Regular trash pickup during holiday week
JOLIET — The week of Feb. 18 will have regularly scheduled garbage and recycling pickup. The Presidents Day holiday Monday will not affect Waste Management’s schedule.
In observance of Presidents Day, City Hall will be closed Monday.
On Monday, the parking decks will be free of charge and there will be no enforcement of the parking meters. Commuter parking lots remain subject to the daily fee.
Fundraiser scheduled
BOLINGBROOK — Bolingbrook High School’s Music Boosters will sponsor a Patio (Bolingbrook location) fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The fundraiser will include performances by the Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz Ensemble at 6 p.m.
Patio will donate 15 percent of all proceeds for dine-in, carry-out, phone-ahead or catering as long as a Music Boosters flier is presented at the time of purchase.
